Small Acts for Big Changes Every big change begins with a small act of kindness. Good Hearts Organization started with that belief — and today, it continues to touch lives across southern Ethiopia through education, empowerment, and community service. The Birth Founded in 2025, Good Hearts Organization is a registered Ethiopian NGO dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized people — especially girls, women, and vulnerable children. Operating in Kindo Didaye, Damot Woide, Damot Pulasa, Ofa, and Damot Soore, Good Hearts runs projects that address both immediate needs and long-term development. We support school improvement efforts, raise awareness on unsafe migration, and provide opportunities for women’s self-help groups to grow small businesses and build community savings. The Journey Through these actions, Good Hearts promotes dignity, equality, and opportunity — values that lie at the center of our work. Our journey is just beginning, but with unity, love, and persistence, we believe we can help build a nation where every child learns, every woman leads, and every person lives with dignity.

Our programs are designed to help both girls and boys from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their full potential. We conduct tutorial sessions, provide school supplies, and support school maintenance so that students can learn in a safe and encouraging environment. Empowering to Thrive At the same time, Good Hearts empowers women and mothers through self-help groups, small income-generating activities, and life skills training. These initiatives help women gain confidence, financial independence, and leadership roles in their communities.
